World Cultures & Travel: Australia's Wild Side

On February 19 at 7 PM, Brownsville Community Library presents Australia's Wild Side by travel photographer Don Lyon.  Lyon, who has explored more than 100 countries and considers Australia a naturalist's paradise and says he often feels "present at the creation" when traveling in the outback, "down under." Every plant, every animal has an unusual story of survival and adaptation to tell.  Birds and animals are quite approachable, and the landscape is pristine and beautiful. This is our last World Cultures and Travel presentation for the spring. Don Lyon will be back in the Fall taking us on pictural tours to places far and near. All programs are free of charge and held in the Kirk Room at 7 PM.
