World Cultures & Travel wraps up with Indonesia’s Bali on Thursday, March 18, 2027, at 7 PM in the Kirk Room at the Brownsville Community Library. Considered a tropical paradise by those in the West, daily life for the Balinese revolves around creating beauty and dedication to their Hindu gods. Retired photo tour guide, Don Lyon was a graduate student at the American University of Beirut in 1970. He brings an expansive knowledge of the history and culture of the area as well as dramatic storytelling images.
