World Cultures & Travel’s next program features Expressions from America’s Arid Lands Thursday, February 18, 2027, at 7 PM in the Kirk Room at the Brownsville Community Library. Native American's take refuge in the arid Four Corners where Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah come together. Come hear their story and experience the beauty. Retired photo tour guide, Don Lyon brings an expansive knowledge of the history and culture of the area as well as dramatic storytelling images. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
Our final World Cultures & Travel program: Indonesia’s Bali will be held Thursday, March 18, 2027, beginning at 7 PM in the Kirk Room at our Library. Readers with a World Cultures and/or Travel topic to share are invited to contact Librarian Sherri Lemhouse at 541 466 5454.
