Brownsville Library Kirk Room
The Advance Directive form spells out a person’s medical wishes in case that person can’t communicate for some reason. This class is intended to make a confusing document seem more understandable. Chaplain Wes Sedlacek, from Samaritan Health Services, will talk about medical decision making, will educate about the POLST (Physician Order for Life Sustaining Treatment), and will help people so they can complete their own Advance Directive during this session.
