The mountainous and remote regions of SE Asia are home to many ethnic groups, many of whom were forced out of China over the past century or more. All retain unique cultural differences which are fast eroding. Photographer Donald Lyon visited many of these groups over a 40-year span to chronicle their fascinating and colorful lifestyles.
World Cultures and Travel's Series continues at the Brownsville Library in the Kirk Room. Former professional photographer and tour guide Don Lyon and others are the presenters of these delightful and informative programs. Our final World Culture & Travel program will be held Thursday, February 20: Wild Iceland. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.
