Supporting Your Library

How to get involved!

Volunteering

Volunteering at the Brownsville Library is a great experience!  Our library was started in 1910 by the Ladies Self-Improvement Club.  Each club member took turns acting as volunteer librarian.  Our library has been built on volunteer help.  Contact Sherri Lemhouse, Librarian for more information at 541.466.5454.

Friends of the Library

It is the mission of the Friends to better library patrons experience.  The Friends of the Brownsville Library meet on the first Friday of each month at 10 am September through June.  Guests are welcome at the monthly meetings.  Become a Friend!  Yearly dues are $1.  Life-time membership is $50.
